The Louisiana Mosquito Control Association is seeking members interested in serving in leadership roles within LMCA. Nominations are open from September 1st to October 1st, 2026. Interested in serving as a Board Member or Vice President or have a friend/colleague you want to nominate? We encourage any qualified LMCA member to consider putting their name forward and helping shape the future of our association.
Things to Know:
- Board Members would be serving Jan 2027 - Dec 2029.
- Vice President would be serving a three-year term (2027 - VP, 2028 - President, 2029 - Past President)
- If nominated, the Nominating Committee will subsequently interview all nominees to assess eligibility, qualifications, and alignment with LMCA’s mission and values.
- Eligible candidates will be submitted to the LMCA Board for approval.
- The approved slate will then be presented to the membership for a vote at the LMCA Annual Meeting in Lake Charles, LA.
- Candidates for Vice President must be members in good standing but do not have to be current Board members at the time of nomination or election.
